Seasons

A few haiku poems on the seasons:

Autumn
Bushes bare their skin,
The sun whispers from afar,
‘I will be back soon.’

Winter
The ice queen stands proud,
Her cold breath chills naked streets,
Mercury drops again.

Spring
Trees draped in new greens
Shelter winged crooners who sing
Winter is no more.

Summer
The sun bares his teeth,
Men grapple with the May heat,
Flowers colour the town.
